It is not necessary for any Client to have signed an acceptance of these terms and conditions for them to apply. If a Client accepts a quote then the Client will be deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the terms applying and have accepted these terms and conditions in full. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Any purchase or use of our services implies that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions.
During the project briefing, it is client’s responsibility to provide us with clear guidelines along with the flow or specific details you may require. When such details are not provided, we will proceed with our understanding of your requirements and quote accordingly. At a later stage, if a discrepancy arises, it may lead to additional costs to accommodate the changes. Thus, it is essential that you clarify every aspect of your website development and ensure that you have been quoted on the right requirements.
Provision of content is customers responsibility, unless specifically negotiated ahead of time as part of the project proposal. Text content – Copy for all website pages and links needs to be delivered digitally and should be carefully proof-read by the client. Two rounds of revisions will be provided free of charge. Subsequent revisions will be billable at our regular hourly rate. Copy development Should client wish Muhammad Ali Technologies to develop content for the site, website copy is billable at our regular hourly rate. Graphical content – Images outside of the website design must be provided in digital form or in a form that can be easily scanned, unless otherwise provided for in customers contract. Subsequent revisions will be billable at our regular hourly rate.
Charges for services to be provided by Muhammad Ali Technologies are defined in the project quotation that the Client receives via e-mail. Quotations are valid for a period of 30 days. Muhammad Ali Technologies reserves the right to alter or decline to provide a quotation after expiry of the 30 days.
All Web Development projects require an advance payment of fifty (50) percent of the project quotation total before work will commence. The remaining balance of the project quotation total will be due upon completion of the work prior to upload to the server or release of materials. Invoices will be provided by Muhammad Ali Technologies upon completion but before publishing the live website. Invoices are normally sent via email; however, the Client may choose to receive hard copy invoices.
Muhammad Ali Technologies will provide the Client with an opportunity to review the appearance and content of the Web site during the design and once they are completed. At the completion of the project, such materials will be deemed to be accepted and approved unless the Client notifies Muhammad Ali Technologies otherwise within ten (10) days of the date the materials are made available to the Client.
Muhammad Ali Technologies is a small business, to remain efficient we must ensure that work we have programmed is carried out at the scheduled time. On occasions we may have to reject offers for other work and enquiries to ensure that your work is completed at the time arranged. This is why we ask that you provide all the required information in advance. On any occasion where progress cannot be made with your website because we have not been given the required information in the agreed time frame, and we are delayed as result, we reserve the right to impose a surcharge of up to 25%. If your project involves Search Engine Optimization we need the text content for your site in advance so that the SEO can be planned and completed efficiently. If you agree to provide us with the required information and subsequently fail to do within one week of project commencement we reserve the right to close the project and the balance remaining becomes payable immediately. Simply put, all the above condition says is do not give us the go ahead to start until you are ready to do so. NOTE: Text content should be delivered as a Microsoft Word, email (or similar) document with the pages in the supplied document representing the content of the relevant pages on your website. These pages should have the same titles as the agreed website pages. Contact us if you need clarification on this. Using our content management system you are able to keep your content up to date your self.
Client agrees to reimburse Muhammad Ali Technologies for any additional expenses necessary for the completion of the work. Examples would be purchase of special fonts, stock photography etc.
Muhammad Ali Technologies makes every effort to ensure websites are designed to be viewed by the majority of visitors. Websites are designed to work with the most popular current browsers (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer 8 & 9, Google Chrome, etc.). Client agrees that Muhammad Ali Technologies cannot guarantee correct functionality with all browser software across different operating systems. Muhammad Ali Technologies cannot accept responsibility for web pages which do not display acceptably in new versions of browsers released after the website have been designed and handed over to the Client. As such, Muhammad Ali Technologies reserves the right to quote for any work involved in changing the website design or website code for it to work with updated browser software.
Muhammad Ali Technologies may purchase domain names and hosting on behalf of the Client, in which case they will then be renewed on an annual basis and the Client will be invoiced by Muhammad Ali Technologies. For .com, .org and .net domains, reminder emails will be sent out to the client before the domain expires at ninety (90), sixty (60), thirty (30) and five (5) days before expiration with a final email sent ten (5) days after the expiration date.
If site design and development work has already begun (such as creating a design concept), then the down payment is non-refundable.
Depending upon the nature of the website changes, prepayment may be required. Should the client be invoiced after the changes are completed, the invoice is due upon receipt. If payment is not received within 30 days, the maintenance changes may be taken down until payment is received. After 60 days, there may also be a 30 percent reposting fee added to the outstanding maintenance invoice balance.
